I've just created these little children illustrations as just a little project to add to my portfolio so I just thought I'd post this up for you guys to see....

So I've just started a new illustration and i thought I'd give you guys a preview of what it looks like so far.... I'm quite liking the dress and gloves as it gives her a more style and attitude.....

So i thought it was time for a change just to living up the page a bit........ i love colour and the background effect as it's a lot more brighter than before which i think makes everything stand out a lot more plus it makes it look more casual and fun which is always a plus.......so do you like? xxx

Bruno Mars....

Now i haven't posted anything about music before but Essential Keys pointed out to me this singer/songwriter needs to be heard by everyone, so i thought I'd share him with you.... Some of you may of heard of him featuring on B.O.B's "Nothing on you" and Travis McCoys "billionaire" but Bruno Mars been on my Ipod for the past month now and i am in love with his mix tape which sadly only contains 4 songs one of which features the likes of Cee-lo green and B.O.B called "the other side"......... However it is his debut single "Just the way you are"that will make you feel that little bit more special every time you hear it..... New Nikes......

Finally, what do you think?......

So i finally got round to finishing of my Lil Rascals collection, it took a while longer than i planned due to other commitments but i got there in the end......

I'm so pleased with the out come as it is my first attempt at children's. I'm gonna mock up a few of the tees as a present for a few people so once that's done I'll post pictures so you guys can see......

As you know i have been testing my skills in childrens wear, at the moment I've been working on a 'Lil Rascals' collection for little boys, the age is between 6 months to 5 years old and will hopefully contain a bit of everything......So i thought i'd give you guys a little taste of what i've been working on at the moment once the other designs are complete i will post them all for you to see........

Cyberdog.....

I am falling in love with Cyberdog, they have some amazing tees for both men and women. This is only one item off my wish list for this month from Cyberdog, and after lusting over it for a couple of weeks I'm ready to purchase this bad boy.... they do this style in white ,grey and black but i fell in love with this colour mainly because print is such a good contrast and for only £23.00 which is not overly expensive....This brand is def one to check out if you like cool prints and something different........

Circus De Freque.....

So it took a little while longer than i thought due to doing other things, but i have finally finished a small womens wear collection that i was working on. Its more targeted to women 18-30, who likes to be a bit different and stand out from the crowd........let me know what you think...

working hard = superdry......

I've been eyeing up this Superdry hoody for the last month now and today i received it as a present from my manager at work for being the best employer of the month..... this is now going to be my staple with all my outfits as i love it soooo much and it's comfy..... i don't ever want to part with it......

so I've been thinking of expanding my design skills and venturing into childrens wear. I've already designed just a few little garments to test the waters, i actually think there not that bad but there is definitely still room for improvement.........

Tonight i wasn't really in the mood to do design work so i thought I'd do a quick illustration, just something quick and simple... might perfect her on a later date though....

Harajuku style......

This is a little project i was working on based on Japanese harajuku style mixed with hip hop culture. I took the layering different prints from the harajuku culture and then the designs of the clothes from the hip hop culture. I probably could have took this a lot further with the designs but I'm still happy with the outcome.......

Okinawa Festival, D&AD and wagamamas=great day!!!

I have just had a great weekend at the Okinawa festival and the graduate D&AD show with some friends. The festival was full of Japanese singing and dancing and the food amazing, it was such a cultural eye opener.
There was such good talent at the grad show with graphics and illustrations being the strongest in my opinion. it was so inspiring to see some of the work coming out of these universities and at the festival that I'm going to do a mini collection based on this weekend....

New shoes....well sandals...

Today i brought the most beautiful pair of sandals from River Island, i love them they are so comfortable to wear. How much were they you ask? only £26.99 BARGAIN!!!!!

They are perfect for casual and evening wear because even though they are covered in chains they look really elegant on..... Now all i need is the sun to come back so i can wear them :s

Whats love got to do with it.......

Well my sister asked me to design her another top as a memory of coming back of holiday, and as I'm a fan of Tina turner and the dvd cover for her film, i thought this project really Lent its self to the this type of print.....

These are just a few mock designs that i came up with so far, i really wanted to keep it minimal with the colour so it had more of an impact. When i finished the final design and and make it, I'll pop them up to show you guys.....

A change of mind.....

After pondering what to wear weeks in advanced for a few of my friends leaving night out, i decided to ditch my old outfit and create a new one with my new treggings.....

I'm going to team them up with these smart casual numbers from Miss selfridge and Topshop. I'm not going too over the top with the accessories as there is quite alot of detailing on the top and the bag so just to add a little something extra i got this cute pearl ring...........

This month i decided to treat myself to a pair of treggings as i have a few social outings i have to go too. I found a really nice fitting pair at topshop for only £35.00. They are fantastic, they look and feel like normal jeans but stretch and hug my curves all in the right places. I would definitely recommend these to anyone with any body shape as they are very flattering...........

This was a quick T-shirt range i designed for my teen sisters as they wanted me to do something a bit fun and unique for them to wear when they go out with there friends. simple placement print of bows necklaces and butterflies made out of an original lace print.......
